PLANTAIN – (Plantago L.) 50g

INGREDIENTS:
Plantain leaves
Dry or fresh leaves are used, picked while the plant flowers.
Plantain is an antiseptic, expectorant, bactericide, antidiarrhoeal and bacteriostatic. It is used for inflammation of the respiratory organs, catarrh and ulcers in the gastrointestinal tract.
It is used externally in the treatment of purulent processes and wounds. It works especially well on Staphylococcus aureus.

PREPARATION:
Pour 2 dl of boiled water over 2 teaspoons (4 g) of dry chopped leaf. Cover and leave to stand for 15 minutes, then strain.
Sweeten to taste and drink one cup of fresh tea several times a day.
