Other ingredients: Pulvis conservans and distilled water

Characteristics and effects:
Septal is a completely natural, harmless herbal preparation made from extracts of several medicinal plants in propylene glycol. It is not toxic or harmful even when (accidentally) swallowed. It has a pleasant smell and is slightly bitter-pungent taste that comes from tannins from certain plants (tormentil, mint), precipitating proteins in the mucous membrane of the mouth, creating dryness of the mucous membranes. Soothes the symptoms of inflammation and pain caused by, among other things, mechanical damage with dental instruments, prostheses, orthodontic appliances, etc. It has no effect on the physiological flora of the mouth.
The addition of vitamin C reduces bleeding of the gums, while menthol has a refreshing effect and neutralizes bad breath.
It is useful for inflammation of the mucous membrane of the tongue, gums and aphthae, alveolitis, stomatitis and difficult emerging of teeth.. It also helps with fungal diseases of the oral cavity, tonsillitis, pharyngitis and accelerates the epithelialization of damaged mucous membranes.
Sage is an antiseptic and astringent. Increases the function of leukocytes, i.e. their phagocytic activity, and especially exhibits antimicrobial properties against st. aureus, bac. subtilis, cand. albicans, e. coli.
Camomile has antiphlogistic, ulcer-protective, antiseptic, bactericidal and fungicidal effects.
Basil has an ulcer-protective effect and helps wounds heal faster.
Mint is a local anaesthetic and antiseptic. Pomegranate extract contains menthol and menthone, which have a mild anaesthetic effect (relieve pain).
Thymol from thyme has antiseptic and antibacterial action.
The solution also contains an alcoholic extract (1:4) of several plants, among which are potentilla, comfrey, tormentil, plantain and yarrow, which all have a large amount of tannins, exhibiting a strong anti-inflammatory and astringent effect. Comfrey also helps epithelialize tissues due to its content of allantoin.
