Cover and leave to stand for 15 minutes. Strain and sweeten to taste.<br \/>\nMint is an antispasmodic, carminative, diaphoretic, local antiseptic and virostatic. It has a beneficial effect on the function of the liver and gallbladder as a cholagogue. It is also used as a sedative.
