Ingredients: Aqueous-alcoholic extract of plants: hawthorn (Crataegus oxycantha), yarrow (Achilea millefolium), field horsetail (Equisetum arvense), common motherwort (Leonorus cardiaca), rhizome and root of valerian (Valeriana officinalis).<\/p>\n

Characteristics and effects: Hawthorn extract improves blood circulation to the heart muscle, increasing its contraction strength. Red hawthorn is a cardiotonic, coronary vasodilator, hypotensive and antiarrhythmic. It has a beneficial effect on milder forms of coronary insufficiency (angina pectoris), senile heart, heart rhythm disorders, high blood pressure, atherosclerosis, menopausal problems, etc.<\/p>\n
Valerian and motherwort contain active principles that have an antispasmodic and relaxing effect on smooth muscles. They reduce anxiety, irritability, establish a normal sleep rhythm and are useful in so-called. “”Cardiac neurosis””, mild hypertension, myocardiopathy and angina pectoris.<\/p>\n
Horsetail and yarrow are diuretics (increase fluid excretion) and lower the blood pressure. Yarrow also has an antithrombotic effect, i.e. prevents blood clotting.<\/p>\n
